  • Describe the characteristic features for fibrous, cartilaginous, and synovial joints and give examples of each
  • Define and identify the different body movements
  • Discuss the structure of specific body joints and the movements allowed by each
  • Explain the development of body joints

Course Description

Our Joint Anatomy and Body Mobility course will review the functional and structural arrangement and coordination of body joints and how they work together for different body movements.  This course will also review the different joint type (Fibrous, Cartilaginous, Synovial) including the different joint characteristics and the movements allowed by each joint type.

This activity may be available in multiple formats or from different sponsors. A self-learning activity can be completed only once per biennium.
