- To understand the importance of profound anatomic knowledge for analyzing radiologic examinations of the ankle and foot.
- To get an insight into important ankle and foot pathologies.
Course Description
In this chapter, we will review some of the common traumatic injuries affecting the ankle and foot including the evaluation of these injuries affecting the bones, tendons, and ligaments. Described in the chapter are the distinct differences in the types of ankle and foot injuries and impingements, using detailed radiography and MRI images of the ankle and foot, including anatomy and common pathology.
