Course Description
Our “Bismuth Shielding Use in CT” continuing education course provides a better understanding of the use of bismuth shielding in CT. Gain a solid understanding on how the use and improper placement of shielding in the CT setting can do more harm than good and cause an increase in the radiation dose to the patient. Also how the use of bismuth shielding in CT can also cause an increase image noise and increased streaking artifacts on the final image.
